Description
Batumi, Georgia - May 16, 2018: Two church steeples and towers with crosses and ornate windows of the Cathedral of the Mother of God Georgian Orthodox church in Batumi, Georgia. It was originally built as a Catholic church early in the 1900s in a Gothic Revival design. During the Soviet period the church was closed and converted into a high-voltage laboratory. In 1989 the church was transferred to the Georgian Orthodox Church.
