Kuching, Malaysia - October 10, 2018: The distinct Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building on the north bank of the Sarawak River in Kuching, East Malaysia. The building was inaugurated in 2009 and is located on the banks of the Sarawak River in between The Astana, is the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak and Fort Margherita. This nine-storey high building is the venue for Sarawak's state legislative assembly sittings. The distinctive "payung" (umbrella) roof of the complex is an iconic landmark for Sarawak. A musical fountain has been opened in the river in front of the building.
