Punjab, Pakistan - September 4, 2012: A man looks on while sitting on his two wheeled donkey cart driving down the main highway connecting Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, with Lahore. In the background, a motorcyclist and passenger are seen traveling the other way. With the decline of Pakistan's railway network in recent years, the country has come to rely more on road transport for both passenger and goods traffic. In rural areas, more traditional animal powered transport vehicles are still used by many people.
A practising aficionado of black and white photography in my youth, I revived my interest in photography a few years ago. My photographs reflect a curiosity to see the world and reflect it through the unique prism of my own life experiences. I have lived and worked in Pakistan, Singapore, Dubai, Los Angeles and London. Presently, I live and work in Singapore where I am a tour guide and business consultant. My images do not belong to the public domain. All rights reserved.
