Islamabad, Pakistan - September 24, 2016: Tourists and visitors mill around the Pakistan Monument as it is lit for viewing after dark. The Pakistan Monument, located in the Shakarparian Hills of Islamabad the country's federal capital, symbolizes national unity through its seven petals. The four large petals represent the four main original provinces of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while the three smaller petals represent Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and the Tribal Areas. The monument and adjoining gardens are a popular picnic and recreation spot.
