Shanghai, China - February 12, 2013: Nostalgic Chinese communist propaganda art depicting an oversized Mao Zedong in his trademark 'Mao suit' and cap inspiring Chinese workers to achieve the aims of the 1949 Chinese communist revolution. Mao Zedong was the leader of the Chinese Communist party which took power in China in 1949 and is considered the father of modern China.

A practising aficionado of black and white photography in my youth, I revived my interest in photography a few years ago. My photographs reflect a curiosity to see the world and reflect it through the unique prism of my own life experiences. I have lived and worked in Pakistan, Singapore, Dubai, Los Angeles and London.
