Description
Singapore - August 20, 2014: An African Superb Starling sits on a wooden fence. It can commonly be found in East Africa, including Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Adults have black heads and iridescent blue-to-green back, upper breast, wings, and tail. The belly is red-orange, separated from the blue breast by a white bar. Starlings are small to medium-sized passerine birds. Starlings are native to Europe, Asia and Africa, to northern Australia and the islands of the tropical Pacific. Generally, starlings eat insects and fruit.
